Our arrival from Cebu was 7AM, i could report late to work, pero nag half day nalang ako.
Because we have planned to file home loan at BPI Family bank in Noveleta.
My mom accompanied me and Glenn at the bank. We were enthusiastic, sa lahat naman kasi ng pagpaplano ko sa pagpapagawa ng bahay, this is the farthest we have come :D
We chose BPI Family because they had a promo of 7.5% fixed for 5years.
Their promo runs until Dec 30, 2012
But as I was submitting the requirements, the manager does not seem to be too helpful.
Usual process takes more than a month daw, so i may not be able to avail of their promo.
Sabi ko, what is it then that i read of 7days processing?
She was as cold as ice. Parang puro nega.
When she left us for a while to do some errand, I told mom i dont feel like i can get any help from her.
It seem crystal clear that I wont make it to their cutoff.
So i might as well check with other banks, diba?
So when she got back, although nasa kamay nya na ang mga requirements ko, had to get them back and tell her i'll see if i can get help from other banks.
Biglang bawi si manager and she said she can request to expedite the processing.
Ay naku, never mind

So when i got to work, checked online again and saw BDO have this 8% 5 year fixed rate.
Okay na ako dun sa 8%. Tinanggap ko na.
Kaya after work, punta ako agad dun to inquire.
To my surprise, meron daw silang promo this Dec na 7.5% 5 years fixed (parang sa BPI)
I just have to submit complete requirements by Dec 30, pasok sa promo.
Diba, dapat naman talaga ganun? unlike yung sinabi ng manager ng BPI na based sa approval date.
The customer service at BDO was soo much better than that of the BPI. I am not generalizing the whole of BPI family Noveleta, kasi marami naman sa kanila ay accomodating.

ganun yata talaga ang mga banks, they try as much as possible not to give you the best rate then pag sinabi mo na lilipat ka or hahanap ka ng iba, willing na sila mag acommodate ng clients.
Naku di talaga sila accomodating...yayabang pa..parang ineentertain lang nila is yung mga kakilala nila at malalaki account sa kanila..walang customer service!!!lahat sila except the boy na cashier nila sya lang nakikita kong mabait..na experience ko rin yun sa kanila...sana nga magkaroon ng BDO dito s Noveleta at ng mas maging convenient, at ng matalo sila...heheh..Just expressing my observation
