Last month, we had balikbayan guests for 2 weeks.
They were Glenn's relatives who were really into healthy food and fitness.
I was surprised to know Aunt Lilian jogs around 4-5 miles/day.
Wow, Im half her age and I wont/cant run 2Km!
While they were here, they went to the market frequently to buy fruits (caimito, papaya, saging, manga, atis, guyabano)
Then they mentioned that they eat brown rice in the States.
I think thats pretty easy.
Weve been eating brown rice for a week already.
Cooking brown rice is tedious, you'll have to soak it for 30minutes and cook it longer than the usual white rice.
Next plan: FruitS always available at the dining table
Weh?

Hi! I'm in my 2nd week of my healthy diet hehe, lots of fruits and vegetables na din kinakain ko at di mawawala ang brown rice. Magkaiba ng lasa compared with the white rice pero mas healthy at guilt-free kapag kumain ka nito.
Im drinking much water too!
From the previous 1-2 glasses a day to 1.5L a day :-)
Still adjusting, wala akong ginawa kundi uminom ng liquid at umihi. haha
Lets keep it up.
