HK Day 4
We didnt have anything planned for this day.
We just walked around Victoria harbour.
Then went to Granville with Jonathan.
Hotel check out - it scared the hell out of me, they wont accept my credit card for some reason.
We have available cash (I mean, my dad has..ehehe) and my mom has another card kaya makakacheck-out naman kami.
Pero why wont they accept it, isa lang ang pwede - Max out?
Waaah...how can that be..... Seryoso?
In some way, the idea of maxed out card kept me from swiping some more.
I couldnt wait to get back home to speak to HSBC customer service or check my personal internet banking.
We were early at the airport, si master kasi bored na sa mall, kaya nagyaya na sa airport.
Ayun, dang tagal namin nakaupo sa airport, the counter for our flight wasnt even open yet. Tsk..tsk, si master talga!
We arrived on time without too much turbulence though weather wasnt too nice.
It pains me to pay that much for ParknFly (P1300 for 3 nights)
Oh well, convenience is expensive.

Future hobby ni Master1?
When he retires, anong pagkaka abalahan nya?
No, hindi sya pwedeng walang pinagkaka abalahan, kasi babaligtad ang bahay namin dahil that is what he does when he is at home. You know, find stuff na dabog ng dabog tapos pag hindi nahanap, will blame my brothers na sila huling gumamit. Please lang, maiistress si mami pagka ganun.
When we were in Macau, halos naloka ako when he said this
"Magkano ba yang mga ganyan? Dapat siguro meron tayong ganyan eh"
I answered in disbelief...."Ah yung ganun, siguro nasa mga 30K yan, depende sa model"
He says "Mas mura ba sa Hongkong?"
"Hmmm..pareho lang kung dito or dun. Pero sa states mas mura" I lied. It was cheaper in HK than in Pinas.
He turns to my mom "Nasayo yung $500 diba?"
Jamie changes topic with the quickness...
Me idea ba kayo kung anong gusto bilhin ni dadi?
A DSLR Camera
Nakakaloka diba? Si manong, nakikiuso. tskk..tsk.
I didnt want him to get it, kasi feeling ko nadala lang sya ng emotion nya dahil lahat ng turista ay naka "malaking camera"
Glenn had our DSLR with him in Hongkong, kaya point and shoot lang dala namin. Siguro naaawa sya samin. hehehe
Mom says something like "this camera works fine"
My dad's replied "Eh yang camera mo naman, pang Cebu lang"
WAHAHAHA.
The next day, he still talks about DSLR.
Ill try to ask him now if he still wants it. Okay, sinong makikipagpustahan sakin...pustahan tayo ayaw na nya.
=D

FW: Appreciate Your Loved Ones Without Trying To Fix Them
I have subscribed to Bo Sanchez's free newsletter.
This is what I received today… J
Appreciate Your Loved Ones Without Trying To Fix Them
Bo Sanchez
My title says it all.
My title is so powerful, so earth-shaking, I should be charging you a million pesos for divulging this secret to you.
Believe me, if you apply this principle into your life, you will change your entire life—radically.
You'll have less stress.
You'll have less fights.
You'll have more peace.
You'll be more joyful.
You'll feel and look younger by ten years.
You'll probably remove your wrinkles and turn your white hair black again!
Okay, maybe not.
But I'm exaggerating to drive home a point.
It was Dr. James Dobson who said that before you get married, you should have both eyes wide open. But after the marriage ceremony, close one eye.
What does he mean? Before you get married, you should be very careful in evaluating your future spouse. Check everything. Values. Background. Preferences. Reactions. Beliefs. Examine everything!
But when you get married, stop evaluating.
Stop critiquing.
It's now time to simply accept the other person, give up the hope of fixing the other person.
Remove the robes of the courtroom judge.
Instead, put on the robes of a painter capturing the beauty of a scene. An artist simply accepts what is and nurtures a gratitude for what is there.
When you accept the other person and become grateful towards him, a great miracle happens: The person learns to accept himself too and thus bring healing of his Heart Wound. Changes begin to take place spontaneously.
Here are a few instructions to develop gratitude in your relationship:
Thank your loved one for the small things he does for you, especially all the typical things he always does for you. The next time your loved ones comes home from work, or takes out the trash, or fixes the car, or takes care of the baby, you know what to do.
Thank your loved one for her uniqueness.
Remind yourself that this uniqueness attracted you to this person as friend, spouse, business partner, etc.
Thank your loved one directly. Express it. Don't hide your gratitude!
I promise: Gratitude will be like oil in the engine of your relationship.
Your relationship will function in a new level in a while.
It's these simple "actionable" changes that you'll learn in my inspiring new book, How To Build A Happy Family, and my powerful 7-session video and audio course, Relationships Reborn.
I believe that after 7 sessions of listening to God's Word about relationships, you'll see your relationships dramatically change.

Dont know what you got till its gone
I have constantly complained about the new office set-up. Me being always on a silent mode, tapos ever work mode (hahaha)
Hahaha.

HK Day 3
Afternoon. To Disneyland =D Ang haba ng byahe...tsk..tsk
Nakakatawa, meron dun asian looking na babae na pagke-galing galing kumanta.
Eto ang comments namin ni mami and Jon "Mukhang pinay yung magaling kumanta"
Glenn: "ganun, pag magaling kumanta na mukhang asian, pinay"
Hahaha, walang karapatan maging magaling kumanta ang ibang nasyon. waheheh
Its funny, i had the whole ride videotaped.. sigaw kami ng sigaw.
"Bat ganun, inaantay ko yung steep na pagbagsak..hindi nakakatakot"
Inulit ko ulit yung tanong ko "Hindi nakakatakot?"
Sagot nya "Hindi"
Then i had him hear his scream.
Fireworks start at 8PM. Ofcourse we would want to see it.
Hehehe

HK Day 1
By the way, i found out na unlike airplane tickets where you get the best price if you book early, sa hotel naman, its better to book few days before lang.
There's this website na OK to scout for cheap rates, check this out www.wego.com
Since 540AM ang flight namin, we had to leave Cavite ng 3AM. Sorry mom and dad =(
NAIA 3

This is a nice move i think, it doesnt need to be in a bonggang cardboard =D

Ofcourse there's no meal during the flight.
Waiting for Airport Express

Nice view from the train

I ♥ Macau
We left Cavite at 3AM because our flight was 5:45AM
Upon arriving in HK, my parents and I went straight to Macau.

Paid P3500 for a night stay with breakfast for 2 =D
Anyway, this is our neighborhood....
Ang taray diba?!
hehehe
The hotel staff were so kind to have us check in early. =)
Ofcourse the senior citizens need to rest, puyat at pagod.
I told them we have to leave the hotel for Venetian by 4PM.
Aba, ang dadi ko, 3PM palang, nagyayaya na. Wala naman daw mangyayari kung nakahiga kami. Tsk..tsk.. Excited!
So we head to Venetian Hotel.
There's this bonggang hotel under construction across Venetian.
I think my parents were in awe when they entered the hotel/mall.
Ate at the Venetian's food court. Dad and I ordered noodles.
Hulaan nyo kung anno order ni mami?
Edi syempre..pancit canton ala macau. hehehe

The normal price of pinakamurang seat is 388HKD. But if you watch the 5PM sunday show, almost 50% off sila. Sobrang sulit!
My dad didnt know any of the itineraries i prepared.
So hindi nya alam ano papanoorin namin, akala nya sine. Sabi ko show.
Here is the trailer of the show
After the show, eto ang sabi ni dadi "Maganda yung kwan, maganda"
Mom liked it too. Its something we havent seen =D
Senado Square is around 20minutes walk from the hotel =D
We passed by Grand Lisboa, all i can say is.... "Grand nga"
Few more minutes, we are in Ruins of St Paul
We went to Macau Tower afterwards.
Very nice view of Macau
We had 12 noon tickets back to Hongkong.
We arrived the pier at 10:45AM (napaka hyper ni dadi eh)
Nakahabol kami sa 11AM sail! hehehe
I love Macau!
Ive said it and Ill say it again, do visit Macau if you go to Hongkong.
Go-lite reinstatement
During the time of my booking pa HK, wala pang option na kung anong route lang ang igo-lite, tipong Go-Lite means roundtrip.
Reinstate nalang.
It says there you pay P400 reinstatement kung nagdala ng check-in ang naka go-lite.
kasi per way ang P400!

Playing with playsport
Ano yung Flip?
Google google.
Ba! cool, liit video cam or pocket video.
Being the inggitera that I am, and being aware that Almira will be coming home na pwede ako pakibili. I searched for it in amazon. Aba..aba...can be!
Pero October is sooo far pa. hehehe
Ive been thinking which to get... Kodak Playsport or a Flip mino
Okay, i hear you all shout FLIIIIPPPPP
Flip was my first choice pero wala akong mahanap.
We went to electronic shops, ansons..electroworld..lahat lahat.
So i decided to get it in HK.
Whoa! para syang meron label na "Take it, take it!"
Its waterproof!
Ni hindi ko nga inasam that i could have that underwater camera case kasi wala nga akong P&S eh, nanghihiram lang ako kila Mami...what more magka video underwater. Coooll!!!
I didnt have time to study, shoot ng shoot na agad.
Tita, thanks so much for this =D
(trying to upload video forever)
