How often do you check your friendster account, ako if not daily, siguro mga 4X a week. Friendster keeps me updated on how my friends are right now. Pati nakikilala ko rin yung mga acquaintances ko na hindi ko masyado naging kaberks dati.

I remember a close friend's blog entry about what she sees on his' collegues friendster. That he/she seems to have changed a lot based from the pics on his/her profile.

Ako rin, ngayon i was browsing my friends' profile, nakakagulat yung mga nakikita ko. Tipong "iba na talga sya ngayon" or "anong nangyari dun" or "nakakatuwa naman nangyayari sa kanya".

I wonder how my friends in my friends list think of me right now. Ofcourse through this blog you have gotten to know more about me. Is it far from what you thought of me before?

Anyway, whatever it is, this is the real me and im happy with it. Caio!

When I checked mail, among the 7 mails i received, this is the first message I opened. Urrrgh, when will I stop browsing this website.

I need help, hindi pa nga nangyayari yung HK trip namin, but here I am, checking how much the fare costs going to Puerto princesa. Urgh, whats worse is, yung statement na sinabi ko sarili ko na "naku, yung ibabayad ko sa Palawan, dagdagan ko nalang pang Singapore"

Tsk...tsk... bigla akong nanumbalik sa katinuan ng pagiisip na "HOY, me panghotel ka na ba sa HK?!"

Glenn and I have been like "totoong magasawa".
Ya know what i mean?
You know, as if we live independently from our parents. Kasi dati, tipong hindi kami nakapagplano magluto, Go nalang kami sa mga mami ko or kila tita neneth.

Ngayon, its my responsibility to prepare for our meal. Dati, parang sabi ko, its going to be hard. Naman naman, pagod ako kakachat sa trabaho, tapos magluluto pa ako pag uwi. hehehe.

Now I worry bout kung meron pa kami dish washing liquid, bar soap, milk, shampoo, toothpaste, mineral water, etc. THIS IS LIFE!

And this is the best part...

Waking up on a gloomy day, this kind of cheered me up. Reminded me of Bulak, I should spend time with him. I have ignored him for some time, but he's still a loyal dog.

BoRiNg SunDaY

Its been raining all night yesterday and all day today. No plans for today.

Glenn and I experimented on trying out the Lemon Chicken. It wasnt good.
The honey we used is of low quality, it wasnt too sweet. The sauce was too sour. The fillet was well done also, or should I say overdone. hehehe. Its too embarrasing to show you the picture of the menu, kaya eto, ginawa ko nalang background. hehehe

F-I-L

My father in law left for abroad yesterday. I dont think I have mentioned anything about him in this blog.

Pag nakakausap ko yun, parating nagpapatawa. Like my dad, he loves techie stuff.

Nitong huling uwi nya, me bagong bili syang laptop. He asked Glenn to take a look at his new toy, he brags that its got Encarta and winamp player. Glenn and I were smiling, we were like "Oh yeah, thats so cool" Glenn says he's got to introduce his dad to Wikipedia.

Before FIL left yesterday, he handed his cool laptop to us. He doesnt like it for some reasons kaya he wants to get another one.

Who knows, when he gets back, his laptop might be a macbook. hehehe.

Right now, we are enjoying our new toy. Sabay kami ni Glenn nagiinternet preparing for our Hongkong Trip. He searches for Causeway bay shoe stalls, while i look on ways how to spend less on this trip. tsk..tsk..

Kap got back from Japan. Sobrang daming kwento about how he didnt like the food there and how expensive everything is there. I knew he'd like Japan, my stay in japan was so short but i already fell inlove with that place.

I prepared dinner at Borja's house. Ay grabe, mahirap maghost ha. Umaga palang nagpeprepare na kami. wahahaha (oki, exaggerated) Pritong tanigue and sinigang lang naman ang pinerepare



Sayang Joy wasnt able to come kasi nga naman father's day. Alijah and Mia had stuff to do. next time mga berks, lets throw a baby shower for maylynn.

Velacion family dined at the Kingbee chinese restaurant.Talagang mahal na nga ang bigas ngayon....
Look who is very happy...feeling birthday girl.Infairness, hindi na pancit canton-fried chix-nido soup-fried rice ang order namin. That's the routine order at Cheffoo chinese restaurant. Ngayon meron ng iba! improving!Look at Patrice, eating on her own at 1year 3months!

She broke the ceramic spoon below. Tsk..tsk.. When asked her whose fault it was, she pointed at Kuya dennis. Nagulat kaming lahat, how she came up with that idea!
The happy birthday girl with my dad, once in a blue moon lang naman kasi ang family dinner namin na kumpleto.
But ofcourse she has to pay... ano masaya ka pa ba?Mukhang hindi na... hehehe

nOT ReADY..

For almost 1.5months, I have been thinking if Im ready to go back to how it was before. Ive asked for signs to help us decide if I should or should not.

Hay, totoo pala yun, tau lang ang nagpapacomplicado ng buhay natin.

Now Im happy that I finally felt that Im……not ready.Im happy not because Im not ready..but because I know what I want.

wITh HoNORs

Every weekend, meron akong cooking test. Last week i cooked pesa again and Glenn gave me a 2 thumbs up. His comment was "Ang sarap, mas masarap pa nga ito sa luto ng mommy ko"

Seriously?! Pambihira! That was the best comment I received in my 2 months cooking career. Alam naman natin na our mom's always cook the best tasting menu.

Dahil sa Ok sa alright ang aking Pesa, sabi ni Glenn pwede na akong magtake ng Final Exam.

So this weekend, I took the FINAL TEST- Beef Nilaga and its ensalada.
This ensalada is Glenn's favorite. He wont eat the nilaga without this. Its potatoes+sweet potatoes+squash+GARLIC+pepper+vinegar+sugar+sabaw ng nilaga.
The verdict: PASSED... and with honors!

SuNdAte

We finally found the time to get the wedding album. And finally forwarded them the list of songs for our wedding video. After 2 weeks daw, we'd get the wedding video. Its not their fault, its ours, hindi talga namin naasikaso ito. tsk..tsk.

Speaking of wedding, last year we received a P1000 worth Marks and Spencer gift check as wedding present. Mageexpire na sya this July so we had to dispense it. Pero naman...wala ka namang mabili na P1000 worth dun kundi medyas! Wag lang maexpire yung certificate, bumili nalang din kami something for Tats.
Ive been wanting to get a pair of jeans, pero kahit saan shop, wala akong magustuhan. I tried khaki pants--no size for me. =(
We went to Havaianas shop to get me a pair of slippers sana. Sa kids size ako, but the designs are too kiddie for me. Kahilira ko nga pumili ang mga gradeschool. Tsk..tsk. These kids, ke bata-bata, havaianas ang binibili ng mga magulang! Sa totoo lang, sobrang nawe-weirduhan ako sa mga nakahavaianas. Haller, P750+ worth of slippers na mukhang beach walk! For me, "Its just slippers, sabihin mo mang matibay ek ek, its still SLIPPERS!" Oh well, sige na, hindi na ako nawe-weirduhan dahil baka makareceive ako ng mga hate mail dahil every Filipino has it already na yata except me. Tsk..tsk.

Nakaplano na talga kami kumain ni Glenn sa Heaven N Eggs, kaya lang, nagsara na pala yun sa Market!Market! Kaya Hap chan kami kumain. Their lemon chicken is better than North Park's.

And this is the best! Glenn agrees I get a can of coca-cola. Sobrang bad day kasi ngayong araw na ito. Wala akong nabili.


By the way, mukhang mababartolina na kami ni Glenn sa bahay on weekends. Gasoline price is incredibly high right now. Last night it was P53.XX/L, kanina its P55.07 already! Grabe, sobrang mahal umalis ngayon. Pahirap ng pahirap ang buhay.....pero ang mga tao bibili parin ng havaianas! tsk..tsk..

oUr PRe-NuP AgREeMenT

Before Glenn and I got married, he had a request. There has to be this particular item in the household. This is kind of a "pre-nup agreement". He said there has to be a box of fresh milk in the fridge year round.

Fresh milk? Dang arte naman nito. Kanawin nalang ang powdered milk, ganun din yun. Ako i love NIDO powdered milk, hindi ko ipagpapalit yun sa kahit na anong gatas. Actually, from where i grew up, fresh milk is a luxury. Not that we cant afford to buy it, pero meron nalang kaming bibilhin na mas masarap pa dito--SOFTDRINKS!

Glenn actually wants the pasteurized milk pero naku, hindi namin carry.
Every two weeks, I buy around 8-10 boxes of milk.

Okay, since he doesnt have any bisyo, we made a pact that I'd stick with this agreement. Miski magkahirap-hirap na kami, bibili parin kami nito.
Isnt it fair that i be rewarded with a 1.5L Coke/month?
O sige.. miski 1 litro nalang.
